About Rayyan

Screening tool for systematic reviews with blind collaboration and ranking that suggests likely includes; a free plan covers small projects.

Rayyan is a web and mobile app for screening studies in systematic and scoping reviews. You upload records from your database searches, and reviewers mark each title and abstract as include, exclude or maybe. Blind mode hides each reviewer's decisions from the others until you choose to compare them.

As you screen, Rayyan learns from your decisions and ranks the remaining records by how likely they are to be included, which helps teams find relevant studies earlier in a large set. Labels and exclusion reasons keep the record of why studies were dropped, and duplicates can be detected and resolved.

A free plan suits small projects, with paid plans for larger teams and more features. Machine ranking is an aid, so plan to screen every record your protocol requires, and report how the tool was used in your methods so readers and reviewers can judge the process.
